Le Pr Yves Lévy, jusqu’alors président de l’INSERM (Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale), va continuer à occuper cette fonction par intérim, stipule un décret publié le 12 juin 2016 au Journal officiel.

Son mandat touchant à sa fin en juin 2018, la fonction a été ouverte à de nouveaux candidats qui seront auditionnés le 21 juin 2018.
